Why Did My Shipping Rating Change?

If you notice that your shipping rating has changed, but your shipping charges have not changed (and you didn't contact us to update the rating), it happened for one of the following reasons:

1. An AmmoSeek user has reported that your rating is incorrect (according to them). When this happens we will do a re-evaluation to determine if the claim is true or not. If true, your rating will be updated.
2. Your rating was incorrect previously due to inaccurate data being used the last time it was evaluated and an ad-hoc corrective update has occurred.
3. From time to time (once or twice a year at most) we will re-distribute the ratings/scores across the board which results in a more balanced bell curve between retailers. In this case your rating changed by the same amount as every other retailer. Relatively speaking your rating is the same, though the number itself may have changed.

If you have recently altered your shipping charges, please contact us to request a rating re-evaluation and we'll usually get to it within 24 hours.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We will not respond to inquiries such as "Why did my shipping rating change?" or "My rating is low but X retailer ships X product more expensively than we do and their rating is higher. Why?". Instead, we will just direct you back to this information.
