The AmmoSeek Certified Retailer Program is aimed at retailers who wish to foster a partnership with AmmoSeek with the goal of providing the most accurate product data possible. For retailers not in the program, the AmmoSeek Engine indexes the web content of each retailer. Retailers in the AmmoSeek Certified Retailer program agree to provide a product feed (usually in XML format) to reduce the indexing effort of the engine. This also reduces website traffic to retailers. If you are an ammunition retailer and wish to sign up for the program, please contact us.

Program Details:

1. The program is limited to retailers that provide ammunition information to us directly, such as utilizing an XML feed, so we don't have to mine the retailer's pages for product information, which is inefficient for us and the retailers. The feed should include all available ammunition (i.e. in-stock items only) and it must be updated once per hour at a minimum. Here is the requested format for the XML feed.
2. Participating retailers are listed first on the left-hand column of the AmmoSeek.com main page under the AmmoSeek Certified Retailers heading.

3. AmmoSeek Certified Retailers are eligible for an additional 10% discount on banner advertising on AmmoSeek.com. This would be over and above any promotional discounts already in place. The 10% discount is good for the first advertising term only, up to 1 year, in an increment of 1,3,6,9, or 12 months.
4. Optional: We ask that a small "seal" be placed on the retailer's top-level page in a position of their choosing that links back to http://ammoseek.com/. Here is the banner:

In return, we will denote with a small icon (or some other method like bolded borders or text) next to all the items in any of our search results from the certified retailer to demonstrate to customers that there is a partnership with the retailer and it is a trusted source for ammo. This will go next to the retailer's name within the search results.

5. Optional: If the retailer so chooses, we'd also love to help drive traffic to your site or to specific product pages through promotions of some kind, whether it be discounted items if the purchaser is referred to the retailer from AmmoSeek.com, or some other mutually beneficial program. We are open to referral/coupon proposals like these and will work with retailers to iron out the details.
